I am currently playing as Ipswich and was playing Arsenal in the Fa Cup and Champions League Finals ( 4 days apart ). I always play with a 4-4-2 standard as i hate mucking about with tactics too much.

Fa Cup Final Result: Ipswich 8-0 Arsenal

Champions League Final : Ipswich 1-6 Arsenal

How the hell did two such different results occur when both teams played EXACTLY the same teams and tactics in both matches.

PS There were no sendings off or pens in either game.

I love the in depthness of this game but i feel the reliance on tactics too much spoils it. If You have a great gelled team they should be able to adapt to a simple 4-4-2 and the result will take care of itself. I accept there are rare occasions when it doesnt but ffs come on. My Team is

Arsenal obviously learnt from their mistakes and changed tactics. You can't tell if they are the exact same. Also something could have happened moral wise. I hate threads full of windging

Yeah Like Derby will have realised their mistakes in their game at Liverpool when they lost 6-0 at anfield this season and beat them 9-1 at pride park this weekend!!

Also, if one good team blows out another, then the same thing happens in reverse...consider it the law of averages taking effect.
