Is there a way of reducing it to the same size as the default one?

I just find the Nike one i downloaded a little too big.

the size of balls changes from skin to skin, so try a different skin, e.g lightning, ithink has a small ball, but you may need to extract the nike ball to the lightning skin aswell.

Make sure the dimensions of the graphics are the correct size, you should have 3 of each size - 5x5 (ball_11, ball_12, ball_13), 7x7 (ball_21...), 9x9 (ball_31...), 11x11 (ball_41...), 13x13, 15x15 and 17x17 pixels.
