Default Putting faces in the game

if i just put downloaded facepacks into the player picture folder will the picture automatically go onto my game or is there anything else i have to do?

If you've done this then they should be:

Put them into My Documents\Sports Interactive\Graphics (You will probably have to make the graphics folder)
Then start FM then go into preferences then display and sound and then tick 'always reload skin on confirm' and then untick 'skin cache'.

there was already a graphics folder there! from there i went pictures/players/small and saved them there. when i un-zipped them they went into new folders again such as premiership...champions league and other players. is this ok?

Yip that's fine, as long as the extracted folder is there and you can see the pictures it's fine.

Just load the game up do as ruud 3 said about the unticking of the skin cache and they should touch wood show up.

But your in program files i think and you should really put them in the My Documents Sport Interactive folder.

There isn't any as long as you remember what pics you put where, ruud 3 does it the easy way, which is probably better is your a bit unsure, as long as the pics load up with no problems, then don't worry to much about it.

Basically, when FM gets a new update the folders in the Documents are unaffected - the Program file folders often have config changes.
