Default Roger Federer

Its been almost a month since my last wall, so long

Won't be getting back into it for a while though, exams starting in 2 weeks time.

So this probably is my last wall for a while.

No disintegration stuff here. I tried a different approach to the wall, was inspired by the Busta Rhymes video so i went with a plain blue bg at first. But it looked abosolutely shite.

So i spent a good few hours remixing things:

The ball's looking kinda odd cause during a ball toss it goes straight up and not so far away from the player's body..! I don't like the pattern on the back but otherwise its a sweet looking wall! The colours are beautiful.. and the render's perfect! But i think the text will look better without 'the best'..

Original^

I kinda played with the angle of the ball, but it didn't go straight up.

You've got a distinctive style coming through mate. There's nothing really that I'd change apart from maybe have the pattern or the backgruond photo fade away towards the top as they kinda clash a little. The render's nice, particular that 'swoosh' which creates that sense of movement in his serve and I really like the text with the area around it, particular them pink motion blurred lines which compliment the wall well - great wall again.

Thanks for the great wall, I have a mate that would love this.

I think you need to change the swooshing motion of the ball. It's going away from him and it the render looks as though hes chucking it up to serve, I dunno, it just looks weird.

That's all I can see that I would change.

Great stuff.

Yeaha it looks like he's tossed the ball up to serve but i think he's about to go for an overhead smash, ie the ball is coming his way. Otherwise if the ball is soo far away at the zenith of the toss, it will be even further away by the time the racquet actually strikes the ball.

But in the wall, the swoosh motion makes it look like he's actually tossing the ball and thats why its looking a lil odd.

I think it would look better if you actually moved the ball towards Federer.

Sorry for over-analysing something as small as this but hey i have nothing better to do anyway

Keep it up!
