2 people, 1 external HD, both trying to play FM07 at the same time???
Yes people, thats what i want to be able to do. The .exe file is located on the external HD which is connected to my PC. My colleague is on the same network and has access to my external HD to run the .exe also.
Can we both run a single .exe and play the game across the network or if we each have the .exe file in our own folders within the external HD can we both run this at the same time?
Is there any settings need to ammend to do this?
Is the FM07 .exe not compatable with multiusers?
My colleague, when trying to run FM07 gets the following msg on his machine "Failed to find default database to use. Please make sur your installation is not corrupt"
I've looked at the forum and noticed that uninstalling the game is suggested...as well as installing the latest Java.
Will either of these be useful on the external HD where we're running the .exe from?
when the drive is connected to my colleagues PC i get the same error on mine???
Please Help

Not sure about the specifics but you will need two copies of FM to even try this, one for each pc or else you are technically (or actuallly) committing piracy.

the error failed to find the default database normally appears when there is no databases in the sports interactive folder in drive/program files/sports interactive/football manager 2007.
so u will need to copy over the folders from ur original drive to ur external so that the files and folders are on both aswell as the executable file.
never tried what ur trying but this mite help if u have not already got the files on both drives
