I read through the instructions on how to load up the editor, by going in the folder and clicking editor, then clicking load database etc... well a little loading screen comes up and goes through lots of stuff.. takes about 5 minutes then disapears... I clicked on the editor again and it did the same thing.. nothing happens after that.. theres nothing new in the folder either. I went on the main menu screen of FM and there is no link to start editing or anything...

Im playing FM2007, 7.0 as I havent downloaded the new patch 7.0.2.. do I need to download this to make the editor work or something? If i dont.. can someone tell why why the f-ck its not working?

It sounds like it may have been damaged during installation, have a go as updating with the latest patch you should do that anyway, if it still doesn't work, do an unistall and fresh install, update and and see if it works then.

bah! more memory then! thanks I'll try that then.. if it doesnt work after that then im not uninstallin it... cant bare to let me saved games go..

if I install then new patch, then will it affect my already saved games?

Ahh I would back your saved games up, go into my documents, sports interactive folder, fm07 then games, you'll find your saved game there, put it in a different safe folder just in case, or even better save it to disk or usb.

Only patch the game to what your saved game is, once you've loaded the game up with your saved game, you can then close it and install it again, it takes ages, but if it works it's worth it.
