Let's look at the next two screenshots. I agree with Hammer that the game needs a complete overhaul. I too know the game of football and Football Manager 07 is not it. When you really discover what the game is about, you realise that it's all rather shallow.

If you can't read the screenies too well, Liverpool scored 2 goals with an amazing 2 shots on target in the first 10 minutes. After they got the goals, I destroyed them all game only to lose 2-0. It's as if the AI got the goals it needed (2 amazing shots from outside of the box) and then left me with the illusion that I actually had control of the match.

Nobody is doubting the possibility of AI cheating. People like myself aren't convinced that the AI cheats, that's all. Because we know strange things happen IRL as well as in FM, and looking at match screen shots won't tell you a bigger picture; as well, developers like Marc V came out and told us the truth. are you seriously saying that you couldnt see why a si representative would not tell you the truth if that truth was damaging beyond repair??

im not saying the truth is, but there is exactly 0% chance of them telling you themselves if there was!!

I agree with a lot of this.Just started a new season at chelsea,my defence is Cole,Terry,Carvalho and Vanden Borre,yet we have conceded seven goals in my first three games.

David Villa,who has scored six goals in two games,gets injured for a month ten minutes into his third game.

John Terry,England captain,is at fault for both goals in our 2-2 HOME draw against WATFORD.

Andriy Shevchenko,European Cup top goalscorer,misses nine shots in one game.

Yet Marlon King,Jamaican international,becomes Pele and runs the ball from the halfway line,past Michael Ballack,David SIlva,JT,Carvalho and Cole before chipping Cech.Watford have four shtos all game yet score twice,we have 22 but score twice.

Why can't people just accept that the game has a load of flaws.

I am in love with this game.I spend minimum hour a day on it(school broke up last week)yet at times it makes me want to snap my disk in half.

The chances missed annoys me most,but the injuries are something else.And it's always the players that you are short on,or are on a sensational run of form.

I'm not going to go far enough to say that the game "cheats", but to me it seems like there are a lot of factors that run against you.

If the only way to convince the doubters is by bringing in an independent body to scour the games coding?, then that is what i'll have to do.

First i'll make a plea to SI to "come clean" as it were, as this will of course save me a lot of money, if not i'll go ahead and employ someone to do as stated, as i am THAT confident that i am in fact correct!.

I'll send SI an e-mail shortly concerning the matter, although having never received a reply in the past, i imagine i'll have to go ahead with the task.
