I just want to start by saying that i'm uploading these tactics on the most part, to show that i am not a complete imbecile at this game!.
I still remain 100% confident that this game is missing many features that would deem it "realistic", but sadly it remains the best Football Management game on the market(who knows for how long?).
Anyway, back to the tactics.
Tactical Formation
There is both a Home and Away version of this tactic, both 4-4-2 with long farrows on wingers.
Style of play
Very much with West Ham in mind, a mix of good short passing, with an ability to go direct should the situation call for it.
Team Instructions
Mostly global instructions, with a slightly more attacking stance at home or against very weak sides.
Away is slightly more defensive with a slightly quicker tempo and less width.
Individual Instructions
The left striker is a target man.
Home or Away
I have both a home and away tactic, but i would tend to use them depending on match odds and opposition instead. Use the home, home and away against weaker opposition and the away, home and away versus stronger sides.
You could also switch mid game to defend a lead or go out looking for an equaliser/winner etc.
Player Attributes
I use 1 quick good dribbling striker and 1 target man(left).
Pace is always helpful, but not absolutely nessasary.
Full backs should have a decent mix of both defensive and offencive stats, as they will get forward to support the attack when needed.
One MC should have defensive qualities as he is mainly a DMC, whilst the other should have good creativity and passing stats to help create chances.
Track Record
I have only used this tactic/s with West Ham and came 5th in my first season. I laid the game to rest early into second season, as i had as many as 9 first 11 players out with long term and semi long term injuries and never used the tactics again until now.
A mate of mine had success in the lower leagues and was seemingly impressed with what he saw, but other than that, all i can say is that the tactic/s were built with West Ham in mind, so i really cannnot say from a personal point of view if they will work with any other club?.
They have both been uploaded to FMDownloads as "realwhu"(away) and "realwhu2"(home), if you wish to take a look then great!.
