So i'm mere hours away from getting the game. So i was wondering which team should I be? I prefer a team with a bunch of local youths in them. Budget should be decent and I don't mind being a german,spanish or italian club as long as the title race is tight..

they have money
the title race will be more tight than last years because of long injuries and departures of key players
they have some great youth already in the team (ben arfa, benzema ...)

I'm going with Valencia since irl their coach got the boot. I usually takes over teams who have sacked their coaches irl. Didnt want to go with bolton,spurs (a gooner ftw!!) or chelski or sevilla. Plus the spanish league seems really challenging this time around with barca, both madrids , villareal , sevilla & valencia.

Personally I enjoy the challenge of taking a club like Empoli or Sampdoria into the Champions League qualifiers. They don't have terrible budgets, and they have a couple of good players each so there's always a foundation there for a good team.

Middlesbrough have the most consistent record of producing young players..so i would choose them!

Middlesbrough arent exactly challenging for the title. Hmm, Valencia got only 1.2 million pounds to spend. I'm set for wingers and attack but defence looks suspect.

the defense at Valencia isn't that bad - a back four of Alexis, Albiol, Marchena and Miguel is better than most - Alexis and Albiol are future stars and the other two arnt deadbeats.

it's just not as great as the attack and midfield. you can easily survive for a season on the premise that you've got a much better attack than anyone else and you should be able to score more goals than them.

or just sell one of your abundant attacking options and generate some cash.

I know, the Portuguese league isn't that strong. But you can make it stronger? The more the challenge.

You've got talents like Adu, Coentrao, Di Maria, David Luiz and Edcarlos all at your disposal. A hefty transfer budget at around €40M with budget adjustments can just let you bring in some of the big names in the football world.

A close race to the title together with Sporting (who can be immense) and Porto (who are unbeatable).
