Anyone managed to sign Michael Johnson in first year of 08? I had a 7.5 + 20% sell on accepted by Man City. Then negotiated a contract with him, only for him to pull the plug at the last minute stating he wanted to stay at Man City. I admire his loyalty, but I really want him in my team damn it!
Maybe He’ll change his mind in Jan when I’m top and city are lagging!

Everytime I try and bid for him I get quoted a price of £20M plus

I don't actually know of anyone that has signed him yet. But I do agree with you though that he does look a quality prospect.

I got him second season for 12.5 mil only played a few games and he's been fb so far. :cool:

nope didn't unsettle him at all. Actually I was a bit surprised they agreed, especially seeing I’d already bought Micah Richards off them! But don’t worry, he will be mine either in Jan or next season!

I paid 25 million. And he was crap, got Diego soon and he did much better.

I managed to get him for £4.4m in the January transfer window in the first season. I said that i wanted him in the media and then i looked and he was transfer listed by request so i got him.

That was with Man Utd

he cost me about 8.5mil start of season two in my everton game. he has really played many games yet as Banega and Cahill have been doing well.

i signed him start of first season with tottenham. 7.5mil..their chairman said the offer was to good to refuse.
