| Try maybe offering him a more active role in the team, but the danger from that is that he may become unhappy if you don't play him as offen as you promised. Also check you've included any gaol bonuses, appearance fees, etc which he wants in his contract. You may just have to be patient and sign him later on in the game.

I signed Branimir Kostadinov for £150k from Hearts for Southend is very quick and got 30 Goals in his first season. He is only 18.

Alex from Vasco, bought him for 750k, next season I've played him twice and then sold him for 10 mil over 24 months, no-one in my team seems to like him though.  | |

Try looking at the under 18 and 21 internationals like Iatly, France, argies and brazil. you can pick up good cheap and free players.
