Is he good in the game. At the end of my 2nd season with west ham and he is available on the transfer list. Should i get him?

I already have Banega, Piatti, Dyer and Parker in midfield.

See the milan thread as to why I think he's brilliant- but he's a tactical challenge.

He'll only play well as an AMC when 100% happy (and feeling on top form according to media comments). His natural position is as a DMC, but that is not the position most managers would put their playmaker in.

But playmaking is what this guy does- along with excellent corners and about 6 to 10 goals from free kicks a season. 20 creativity. I don't know if anyone else in the game matches at, I imagine no more "great" players than you could count on the one hand.

A challenge, but recommended.

thks. Signed him for 2.6m. A bargain IMO. will he do well in a flat midfield cos that's what i play?

don't think so he's not a player that can hold his ground well so he will be leaving gaps if nobody is covering him. Not a CM anyway. Great bargain though and you should change your formation just to suit him and buy other players to partner him because he is so worth it.

IMO one of the best DM's in the game. Scores a few and loads of assists.

You can buy him in the first season, i got him for £22M with barcelona.

hes an automatic name on the teamsheet for my milan team, playmaker, free kick and corner taker too.

i play him at DMC.

He may be ok with DMC barrow.

I just like him standing back, distributing the ball around. I rarely get less than 45% possession anyway, so he'll always get to play.

PS- not the greatest tackler but he does win the ball-usually by getting there first.

In my expirience he will play good in any mc, dmc role (without RWB, FWR often).
I play him on left wing with arrow towards the AMC playmaker in a shortpassing game, and he is exellent.

One of my favourite fm players.
