I got Ricardo Quaresma for £21 mil which i thought was a little high but he is a very good winger.

They put high asking prices to stop u from buying there player.I wanted to buy Quaresma they wanted 25m for him.I offered 9m then they wanted 21m.after a month of nagoations I got them down to 14.5m.The same happened when I bought Mathiz fernandes they wanted 20m but I got them down to 11.5m.

I can understand top players at Champions League teams being priced out of moves, but I only wanted to sign Elano, who was worth 8m at the time. City's response was that they were happy to let me negotiate a contract with the player...for 42m!!!!!
Not really in my budget.

only high offer i've been asked for was 151M & Adrien for Ronaldo of man utd which was a tad weird.. only proper high prices i'm seeing is the AI spending stupid amounts of money

| i understand having to pay over the top for players who are indispensible to their clubs but why do AI controlled teams get to buy them cheaper than i do? I'd happily spend £15m for Huntelaar and expected to be able to necgociate Ajax down from £20m region but for the AI controlled Milan its £9m flat fee and done and dusted in about a week so its not even related to making him unhappy over a prolonged period of bidding.

Second season with Villa, £27m to spend and I cannot get ANYONE who is better than the players I currently have! its so annoying, even offering double the players value = nope.
Oh well, maybe I will just wait, I'm not wasting money by paying over the odds.
