I am currently at the strt of my second season with manchester united, wanted to strengthen to build on last years successes and hopefully reduce failures, i am a huge fabregas fan...

i offered 60million... arsenal rejected,
i then offered 100million (which i dont have) just to see if it was accepted, they are now negotiating and they want...

£183 million... and to top it all, the want Saivet my promising youngster.. are they for real!?!?!?!?

I think Cesc has the highest potential on the game, he's what 20 and already probably one of the top 4-5 midfielders on the game.

Yes they are very much for real. He's probably the best player in the game. He's got the highest PA after Ronaldinho and Henry I think. AND he's only 20. That atleast another 11 years you'll never have to bother about the MC position again. Plus, he hardly ever gets injured.

And you forget the fact that Man Utd are one of Arsenal's most hated rivals. They'll hardly cut you a nice deal now would they? Many Arsenal fans have tried to buy Ronaldo/ Rooney from Man Utd but they just keep rejecting all bids. I've gone upto around 65-70M I think and they've still rejected.

I think that after Ronaldinho and Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo and Fabregas have the highest PA.

Same sort of thing happened with me with Barca. I wanted C.Ronaldo and offered £70M and they wanted £155M. Some of the prices in the game are just stupid and unrealistic.

It was the same in FM07(pre-patch) with stupid prices for players but they fixed it in the patch.

Hope they can fix it when the new patch comes out.

I bought Fabregas for 55 m they asked for 103 m at first but a negociated near end of transfer window and got him for 55 m

Well from the beginning of season 1 my main transfertarget were Fabregas.
I didn't manage to get a hold of him in my first season, as Arsenal flatly rejected all my offers and I just didn't have the money to get an offer accepted.
I've been praising him in the media all the time, too, but nothing seemed to work.

At the start of second season I was given 95 mio to spend and since I sold players for more than 40 mio too, I knew that I sooner or later would get an offer accepted.
However, Arsenal kept refusing offers and after they rejected my 60 mio offer I more or less gave up.

I then bid 100 mio just to see if that would make them change their mind, and it did. I had the offer accepted and immediately Fabregas came unhappy that his manager accepted an offer for him.

I then cancelled my offer and praised Fabregas and he became unsettled after a while, and then it was just a question of negotiations. I ended up paying 35 mio upfront, 13 over 12 months and a sell-on clause of 50%.

i bid from 40-70mil arsenal rejected it all until 80mil. they didnt accept it buy negotiate for 173mil.

one way is to declare interest on him. make the media know u are chasing after him. unsettle him and he will be unhappy when the bid is rejected.

I successfully made him unsettle and unhappy because of the rejected contract. unfortunately i just got aguero and i didnt have the budget to sign fabregas
