When i went on holiday at the end of season 1, i had forgotten that i put in a bid for Joaquin. When i came back, my assistant had offered him a contract, and he will be earning, well, alot. The fee is 14.75mil, mostly installments. It is a good deal? If it is, Pat Rice has a job for life!

14.75M for Joaquin????? You MUST be joking!! I'd kill to have him for that price. His current buy-out clause of 40M is too steep for my boots. But anything under 20M is a steal for a guy of his quality. Well done! :thup:

Sorry to post again, but mind telling me how you managed to achieve it?? Was he unhappy at Valencia or something?? Or did you unsettle him or what??

He was listed by request, unhappy after i beat Valencia in the Champ League! I made a bid of 2.3mil + about 12mil over 24 months, and it was accepted. I went on holiday, and Pat Rice agreed a deal with him, so he is coming in in July!
