First season, in January with Barca. Real Madrid are also interested in both. Who should I fight for? They are both 26 and look world-class for the next 5-6 years. What do you all think?



p.s. The board increased my budget to $75m.

Barzagli is a rock and cheaper. He lacks pace though, so just get whoever compliments your other CB best.

If you can spare the extra cash, go for Toure. Much better IMO.

Touré has the pace advantage, yet Barzagli is superior in the air. Barzagli is the better defender, 19s or 20s for all the key stats

He cuts it at the top level, Toure is a better role-model & captain

Barzagli is charismatic leader which i've never seen before.And he scores more from corners.İ had them in my arsenal team and barzagli was better

Barzagli's speed is not that bad. I'm sure it could be improved with some trainning. It's tough for me to choose. The italian would be easier to lure away as Palermo are not big team and he wants to leave them. But for some reason they rejected $28-29m. bids from Real and me, which made Andrea even more unhappy.

This is my current back 4:
Cassani/Zambrotta---Puyol-----Milito----Abidal

Mattia has taken over the right side recently with very good performances, plus I intend to use Zambrotta more in the crucial stage in CL play for the spring. If I get either Toure (btw, it would be nice to get him on the same team as his brother Yaya, wouldn't it? ) or Barzagli, it would be to partner Milito in the middle as Puyol will be moved to right back.
