Season 2027/28

Linfield pushed us to the wire in the league, but the team is growing and, despite our poor start of the season, when the important matches came we started to produce results.

We somehow got through the Uefa Group and got Monaco in the 1st knockout round. 1-1 agg and lost in the shootout Monaco went all the way to the final, which they lost on penalties against Stutgart.

Towards the end of the season we entered some fancy All Ireland Cup, in which we duly got ourselves trashed in the semis against eventual winners Shelbourne. Still it was fun.

Killymoon Rangers directors are a bit insane. They've improved the training facilities to state of the art + youth academy but are happy to keep the cozy 750 no seater stadium

Some interesting jobs open, so I can't promise I'll stay much longer here.

Stadium expansion still seems a little bit fecked up in FM 2006.

Do the actually call that a stadium? I think you can get that level of attendance with just people standing around the pitch.

Surely 750 capacity with no seats is just a pitch with a fence surrounding it.

Indeed.

Anyhoos, We got drawn against Spora in the 1st UCL Quals (10-0 Agg). Dinamo Tiblisi came in the 2nd Quals (4-2 Agg). Steaua Bucarest in the 3rd Quals (4-2 Agg).

So, we're drawn in the UEFA Champions League G Group together with Bayern München, Juventus and Aston Villa (Premiership holders).

At least gate receipts and TV money will be tasty

Poofland, Jockland, Wales, Ireland and N.Ireland loaded til their lowest division on a large database.

Workington suffered a bit when George Vincent retired, as the board didn't appoint a manager until last season. However, they've somehow managed to end 5th, 7th, 3rd and 3rd in the past 4 seasons. They've also managed to win the FA Cup in the 26/27 season and came runners up in the 25/26 Champions League final (where R.Madrid avenged the surprise result of 2023/24).

They have some quality youngsters breaking up to the first team and the future does look bright for them now that they have a manager and suposedly contracts are finally being renewed for their players.
