Have found that my old thread has been closed, so have had to create a new one. Have finally, a month after doing the ride, completed the website to do with it.

Did you entail any sort of training for the charity ride? ; I am quite interested in participating in something not to dissimilar to the Alpe d'Huez.

As much as I could fitting round a full time job.

It revolved around three regimes.
1. Riding up the 'Killer Mile' near my area - nine times shorter than Alpe d'Huez but twice as steep.
2. Riding a longer, rolling 50km loop.
3. Going to spin classes 3 or 4 evenings a week at my local gym.

Have to say it worked.
