FM 2005 - what determines reputation?
I have taken a team from conference north to 5th season in premiership, always battling relegation. However my team's reputation is only regional. in real life, i would say reading and wigan already have national reputations, despite their short time in the top flight

It is a lot better in FM06. My Workington team's reputation increase was what you'd expect if such an incredible thing were to happen.
My Killymoon Rangers' reputation has also seen its status raised to National after bowing honourably to Dinamo Kiiv (1-3 agg) in 3rd Qual. Round of UCL. Either then or at our following 1st UEFA Round home tie 1-0 deserved victory (and I'm quoting the media) against Galatasaray
