This was mentioned in the LLM changes thread by another American, but I'm in the same boat. I don't know enough about real-life LLM to know what staff levels are realistic for each level. There was mention of an already existing thread covering the subject, but I wasn't able to find it.

Does anyone want to fill in a couple of Yanks on what is realistic for the various levels?

What I do, and many others too, is just to look at several of your fellow teams staffing. Look at a couple of good sides, a couple of crap ones and a couple of others. Then make up your own mind.

If you're getting FM (WWSM)07 it sounds like it won't matter anyway :thup:

Like Aussie says, if you're getting the 07 version, the board will tell you what they consider to be a maximum number is anyway.

Thanks, but I'm not planning to upgrade to '07 any time soon. I just upgraded a few months ago to 06 from 01/02.

I argued from the start, from the very day Taips mentioned it, that there should be no limit on staff, and here's the reason why.

Hutchison Vale, a youth Club in Edinburgh, one of the most successful breeding grounds for pro-footballers in Europe, if not the world, list of current ex-Hutchy Vale players, have these staff members looking after the teams.

This does not include the scouting network they have discovering this talent.

Now...if a boys' club in Edinburgh can have a staff list like this, I'm bloody sure I can have 6 scouts if I want to!!!

It's only a guide Ian (and as it's pretty much the only one, it is, by definition, definitive, as in the most complete or authoritative available). Not like it's set in stone though.
