One last question do you think the supplementary features to Fm will either benefit your LLM experience or hinder it?

Funnily enough with each version of FM more and more 'things' we take for granted when LLMing are making it to the game (job centre, scouting a player for 4 matches before the scout reporting back, SWYCT/SYB, realistic number of coaching staff, ...).

Sure some of them need fine tuning, but they're being slowly introduced into the game.

* Lastly, the rules could probably use some updating on finding players. Specifically stuff we support, like asking players/staff for recommendations.
The guidelines will stay the same. They won't become defunct overnight as some people will still be playing FM06 for various reasons.

I don't feel the need to tell people how many staff they hire. Everyone knows what are realistic levels of staff, so I personally don't see the need. There is a thread somewhere with the average staff levels in different leagues.

The rest will be looked at when we decide if the additional features are of use to a LLMer

I don't, to be honest. I just try to be realistic in my own eyes. It's the spirit of LLM that counts, I suppose.

I still use Taips guide on staff mainly, or just take a look at the teams in my division and see what's the standard.

The manager reputation thingy should get its own little passáge in the guidelines-sticky, as far as I'm concerned. It's a pickle being the big nobody. And as we all know, pickles are good.

One of the big causes of 'confusion' is the difference between the 'rules' and the 'Guidelines'.

For ntfc's benefit, the rules pertain to the forum: Tipping, cheating and player naming aren't dependent on a new version of the game. so they will almost certainly never change.

Guidelines, such as SWYCT, will be slightly redundant with the new version, but will still apply to older versions, so are still valid to an extent.

So Kallinan, can you now defend ntfc's appearance in here when he clearly isn't a LLM player?
It's been a long standing fact that LLM and the other aforementioned forum don't mix. Yes, we've had llamas come here from those forum, but the two can never be done at once.

You're either LLM or you're not. ntfc is not. And if you can argue that that he is, I have to question whether you are as well.

I may prejudge based on current and recent posting history, but how often have I ever been wrong? I'm like your Second Post Theory Ian.
