I have been contemplating over the past few days and have come to a decision. That it’s time to begin a new era and institute a life of LLM.
I know this announcement may be met with skepticism on account of me posting in the TT& T and at intervals in the GQ, but this post in genuine and I would be honored to be one day a true LLM.
But I hope you guys will embrace me into the LLM forum with open arms, and if not tough sh!t because I’m here to stay.
Just a pact so you guys can hold me against it, I solely promise to abide by the LLM rules no matter the circumstances, if I fail to abide by them I shall donate a thousand pounds to Nobby’s charity.
With your repeated posting in T&T these past few days, I am very sceptical about you becoming an LLM. It isn't done over night.
However, if you are serious then you should be given a chance.
If you end up not following the rules of the forum and guidelines of play, then with your recent history, you're going to get ripped to shreds.
If you do this, then slowly you will earn the respect of the regulars. Again this won't happen overnight.
And if you fail, which charity is getting the £1000?
1. Nobby Goes Skiing in January Charity
2. Nobby Buys A PlayStation 3 Charity
3. That other charity Liam and I raised money for by riding up some mountains.
Your less the friendly welcome was due in no small part to many others who have come here from forums such as GPG & T&TF and abused the rules.
What you do when your not here and how you play the game is entirely up to you, just make sure that when you are here you adhere to the rules listed in the forum header. I am personally of the opinion that you will enjoy a long term game far more playing as a LlaMer and I believe that there will be many more people making the move in the coming months. I would suggest that you make an attempt to avoid your old haunting ground forums. To be honest, they are going to be an absolute nightmare over the next month or so, so it would be a good time to give them a miss. By that time you should have worked out if a long term LLaMa career is really for you.
I would like to point out that although you initially got a frosty reception in here, you also had a number of people standing up for you in quite a deep discussion. I hope you repay the faith that some people showed in you.
I've played 3 full half seasons in the demo. Once with a league 2 team and twice through with the same Conference team.
I wasn't really playing though, more just exploring and having a look for bugs and data issues.
I probably won't play the demo again and if I do it will just be a bit of a muck around. I thought about experimenting with tactics but is just didn't seem right. I don't want to spoil the game for when I get it.
