You would also need to scout the players within the parent club imo |

In the demo, I played as Bradford City and was offered a parent club of Liverpool, Middlesbrough or Wigan. I dismissed Liverpool as I didn't think it realistic that a club the size Liverpool would see Bradford City as being a good enough feeder club for their players. I dismissed Wigan as they are, in my mind, not a big enough club to warrant having a club the size of Bradford City as a feeder club. I thought that Middlesbrough were probably the best fit in terms of location and relative size of both clubs.
| Like your thinking there Wizzle, but possibly a bad example as Liverpool use Wrexham as a sort of feeder club (due to location I guess). They loan out a fair few youngsters to us (can't name them obviously but last year for example we had a young winger with us til Christmas), play a friendly at least once an year (where they donate all the money to us) and even use our ground for their Reserve matches.
No doubt about it but Bradford are bigger than us (couldn't even convince my heart otherwise never mind my head!!)

Just want to clarify though I agree with what Wizzle is saying about trying to realistically tie up with a big club. Does size matter? (OO-er missus - It's going to turn into Carry On LlaMa if I'm not careful...) Or maybe location is a better indicator?
Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that those type reasonings would be far to tough for someone living half a world away from England (in the Bradford example). Adam, how would you go deciding on the validity of accepting being a feeder club when managing in the bottom league in, say, Turkey?
The old adage of 'if you have to ask' doesn't really hold because I would have to ask as I have NFI.

Its difficult to tell without the full version of the game. I suppose you could argue if the board have made the offer then it would be ok to take any team on the list(much like the staff allowance issue)
Be interesting to find out if and who would be offered to a Conf N/S team.
You also may only be offered teams a certain number of leagues above you anyway. As you mention Bradford and Liverpool is not really unrealistic

I abhor the whole feeder club thing in real life, so you can be sure I won't be using it in the game.

| While experimenting with League 2 Barnet in the demo, I got a Conf N/S team as a feeder.

That's a little unfair Ian. There are leagues where the whole parent/feeder thing is common place. Admittedly not so much so in the UK, where the ones you know about tend to be top premiership teams and Belgian (etc) lower league clubs.
