| In the past, John, there has been semi-consensus that staff search was OK as long as you filter it to the dominant language of the place you're at. Some add a wrinkle or two of restriction, such as hiring no one whose reputation is better than yours (or your club's).
It's fair to say most of the people here view staff search differently from player search. Because the Job Centre doesn't really get the job done. Yet.

And oh, there's another thread on this a little way down, started by Foobar.

I don't profess to be perfect with my English, but at least I make a conscious effort to enable my posts to be readable without people trying to work out what the words actually are and in what context.
There's no structure to John's post in terms of sentences, so it makes it much harder to be understood for people who may not be fluent in English.

| While this is an argument we all agree upon, and has been repeated enough times, it's agrumentative value is getting deteriorated if it's applied to perfectly understandable, gramatacally passable posts. His spelling is flawless, he lacks a comma or two. Nobody had trouble understandig what he meant.
Sometimes a friendly bashing can be funny. When they form a pattern of meaningless windups to "rookie" mistakes, it stops being humorus, and starts being lame. I think you crossed a line wih that funny quote up there. Edit in the light of day, easy like sunday morning: Nobby, I appreciate that you're trying to keep this forum as-is, free of The Annoyances. I get that it might be me that missed your joke, or something. You're just a little trigger happy, and I felt for the guy, punctuation impaired or not.

What I really want to know is why Better was anywhere near your arse and since he was, did he find anything interesting while he was there? Edited for spelling mistakes |

My post was a bit of a mess, I have a habit of starting all my sentences when posting with "I" and that was a particularly bad example at first. I changed it a bit before posting and obviously made a bit of a hash of it.
To be honest if I had'nt got a bit of stick off Nobby after my first post here I would have felt left out.
