Ok, big FM player, have been playing the SI games since Christmas 1997, and have owned all since CM 97/98. I have been a member at varying forums but never here until now, and since I love the challenge of a realistic lower league team, then here seems like the home for me.
Im going to wait till I have my copy of the full FM 07 game before begining my first foray into the world of LLM, but just wondering I noticed it says in the guidelines only one update after three seasons. Well, its been a rare occurance that my games last so long, especially in the lower leagues, so would I be able to do one update at the end of each season?
Anyway, hi to all, and hopefully I'll not be booed off the board for breaking the stringent (but neccessary) guidelines any time soon!
Three seasons minimum played before you post an update thread. The last thing I want to see is loads of one or two season updates before you (or anyone else) get bored and start a new one.
Given that nearly all LLaMas reckon that saves don't get interesting until you've played at least half a dozen seasons or more, you reckon you're in the right place?
Oh yes, definitely in the right place. The replies have comfirmed it. I like a challenge, but until now have had very little reason to pursue a long-term game except for my own fulfillment. Now I have the challenge of proving doubters wrong, and sticking it out.
Ok, no problem. No updates for three seasons. May take a while because of college commitments, but it shall be done. Maybe not with one club, I may well be sacked in my first season. But I will still have a go at it.

Isn't that why we play? For our own fulfillment, which I think is also why we play the way we do (and why long term games apply)...which has little to do with doubters and heretics I imagine. But I'm often wrong.
