Any chance you have a save game just prior to the offers being made. The only way SI are going to look at this issue is if someone raises it as a bug. And can demonstrate the problem to the via a save game.

I do, as it happens. It happened in the preseason of season 1; and I always save the game at the start. After I'd played the preseason (4 friendlies) it had happened twice at that point (as described above). So, I was p*ssed off and thought it must be corrupt or something. So I didnt save the game. I can see if I can recreate it tonight from the save.

The only problem is its FM 2006. I would have thought the're not looking at issues with that version anymore.

Ah sorry BeanCounter I got the wrong end of the stick. This is a very very well known problem() with Fm06. I though it was repeating in FM07.

Well, thats interesting to know anyhow. So, I'm presuming that for all you LLaMa's you have come up with a smiliar 'code' to the one I've suggested above.

At Woluwe, I have a transfer budget of £10k. So, obviously selling 2 players for around £300k will just kill the challenge (well, aside from me being tactically inept, that is).

It doesn't. Trust me.

I've sold several players for decent fees over the years to this point, and my KSV Bornem board have let me have a couple of million to spend, but try finding players who are (a) worth that kind of money or (b) want to come. The challenge is still there, you just don't have to worry about the receivers coming in.

Ahh, good to find another person treading the Flemish path. How money seasons you got under your belt? Better still, do you have an update thread (think search is still down )

SI have already acknolwedged this as a problem. They didn't fix it for FM06, but they said in the Gold Demo thread (I think) that the situation should be *much* better for FM07.
