I've been playing my first LLM save in Norway for around 10 seasons now and I've noticed that my scouts very rarely return reports on players over 25. Majority of the players scouted are under 19's.
Is this something unique to Norway, or something weird going on with my save? I've read other people's updates and they seem to pick up veteran players.
I'm all for giving youth a chance but I wonder where all these old players are going?
Have you tried telling your scouts to only search for older players, Seve? I've seen the opposite problem in 07 (haven't played 08 long enough to judge) - France, and IIRC China both gave me reams of players of 28+ years and bugger all youngsters unless I instructed them to search for them.
It might be a slanting issue in your game, as scouts look primarily for players who are/might be interested in signing for you. In some divisions, older players might not be willing to slide down the leagues to play for you and the older players in your league or below might not be worth scouting (if you see what I mean), whereas there happens to be a bunch of up and coming youth talent who'd either drop down to play regular football or are quietly waiting to be discovered at smaller clubs.
