It happened once to me yesterday, but i had only go about 4 dayd, so just re-bought the players again and hasnt happened since. (gr8 game!!)

If I press the L button when there isn't a screen to go back to, the game crashes and my PSP restarts. It hasn't crashed at any other time.

Great Game Guys really enjoying it my forearms are getting dodgy from playing too much!
I also have had the game crash on me twice in the space of 10mins, however it hasn't happened in the other 15 hrs I have played, I think I was navigating screens when it happened

crashed on me twice aswell, both on the first day i got it. no problems since then though..

Exactly the same here - two crashes, both on same day of purchase, been fine since. Both crashes occured when I was in the squad screen attempting to swap player positions around..game froze for about 5 seconds then crashed on me (black screen). Since I have now put the game on auto save 9evey month) the crashes ahvent occured, just something I noticed..

I just had it crash on me, too.
Tried to use the right shoulder button to go back to tactics screen from the squad screen and it froze and then rebooted.

It's happened to me quite a few times, when pressing the left shoulder button, I thought it might be because the game is trying to go to a screen that actually isn't there because there is no screen to go back to. But I don't know.
