If you want to take a player off the transfer list after putting him on the list what do you have to do? I dont see an option to take a player off the list.

if you click the player and go to contract you can cycle through transfer status I think

You can transfer list a player or list him for Loan on the Player Contract screen, as LUFC suggests. Simply press Right on the D-Pad to navigate into the body of the screen where you can select the options.
