I think most of what I have said before had the point I was trying to raise, and that is that 3rd party ownership should be in Football Manager. This thread wasn't made just to be about Corinthians and MSI, though there is a large focus on the relationship between both of them in what I was trying to say.
Yes, MSI brought to Corinthians lost of players they wouldn't have been able to sign.

And of course, I agree 3rd party partnership should be in the game. This is a very important part of football nowadays.

Obs: Regarding Corinthians, they have more debts than they had before MSI came, as Corinthians ended up having to use their own money (money they didn't have) to pay the salaries, etc... of the players brought by MSI. And MSI only paid a small percentage of the Corinthians previous debts.

As ive already said i think it would be quite interesting to have it in Football Manager, more than anything else to see how SI would implement it. Personally id think it to be a pretty good thing if you're West Ham and a third party bring you 2 top players for a season free of charge!!

But also having to deal wirth the Corinthians situation would be quite a challenge.

Id just really like to see it in game, because as has already been said, it is now playing an important role in football.

what they should do is create a club called MSI and have tevez and mascherano on loan to Man utd and liverpool from there. this way the £30million Man u have to pay to get tevez permanatley goes to MSI not west ham

I tihkn it should be included. It would be similar to what the last person suggested, but it wouldn't exactly be a club, more a company. They'd have players, but they'd only be avalible for huge sums of money and for loans. And of course, they wouldn't be avalible for friendlies or anything, and they would sometimes use smaller clubs as an "advert" (e.g.take Tevez and Masherano to West Ham for free so big clubs se what they can do and pay £££s for them.)

I would like this included, the easiest way for SI to implement them would be to make then an unplayable club, with a new type of AI specifically for their transfer rules. It would all be biased towards South American players and clubs though.

Then again, I believe this business is being frowned upon in all nations now, Corinthians have broken their agreement with MSI and quite a few Brazilian clubs are likely to boycott them.

Mascherano isn't on loan, MSI terminated there deal with him, thats why Liverpool were allowed to sign him.

Actually Masherano is still on loan from MSI, they still have there interest in the player, its pretty much the same deal that took Tevez to Man Utd, 2 year loan with the option to purchase

I dont think adding MSI as an uplayable club is the solution. For starters there are more of these companies than just MSI. Everyone seems to have overlooked this for some reason. Surely a new AI solution can be added. Im no good with computers TBH, but it cant be that difficult to do.

Here is a way of how it could work;

Imagine you are playing a 2 player game with a person known as B.

You are Atletico Madrid and have run into financial difficulties. No clubs are willing to pay your asking price of £15million for your top player. A 3rd Party comes along and buys 100% ownership of your player. Your club still gets the full value for the player, and now he is owned by the 3rd party.

Then the 3rd party offers person B's club, (Villarreal), the player on a 2year loan for £4million, with a fee agreed after the 2 years of £14million if person B wishes to pay it, giving them an overall £3million profit. If not, then the 3rd party are free to move him on to another club. Person B still gets the benefits of a top player for 2 years at a fair price.

I just think that having that in the game would be quite interesting. It would certainly be beneficial to clubs who cant afford to pay huge sums for a player and would just like him for a couple of years at a fair price.

Though these are just my thoughts on the matter of course.

In real life, 3rd party ownership can work if its governed properly. Its only when corrupt companies such as MSI start doing dealings that aren't above board that the waters get muddied. This in turn gives 3rd Party Ownership a bad name, and reflects badly on companies such as GSA (Global Sports Agency) who have been trading much longer than MSI and have never had complaints or investigations into their activities.

I think we would still be stuck with the issue of certain players refusing moves (even on loan) to certain clubs.

I have no doubt Tevez would have refused a loan move to West Ham with the current transfer model on FM. :thdn:

Well, thank god that the EPL is going to ban it and FIFA is considering a universal ban.
