(example)i played ac milan in final of champions league and they beat me 1-0. ok i can take this BUT there keeper turned out to be a "grey" player who had exceptional stats and was man of the match. Ok i get that the ai can be a bit stupid and sell maybe to many of ac milans players and need to fill the gaps but isnt it unfair to fill them with worldclass gerys?? if i dont have enough players i have to use under 18's or crappy grey players. 1 rule for 1 and 1 for the other??

Its funny you have come across this. In a way you have come across a cheat/glitch.

In Italy there is no reserve league. People use this by setting up a reserve game with there main team or U -19 and remove all the players from the reserve players from the team by putting them in one of the other squads. The match is then played by the reserve greyed out and other team ( main or u-21) As you have seen there stats are incredibly high. People then offer them contracts as you can do this with your teams greyed out players. Then they sell established players Your Kaka's Totti's whoever and replace them with these amazing greyed out players. I think the patch has dealt with the stat issue but you can still do it.

I rember once when I had the English league on view only. Cudcini wasn't in the game, so Chelsea were given a grey called Owen Davies. He was 18 and twice the player of Cech. They never ofered him a proper contract so I could never sign him
