Hope this is modified in the patch, at least so the news items are in order!

The best solution for me would be an email-like system. We could mark as "bulk" the type of news that we don't like to see in our inbox in the future. If this isn't possible,I would prefer it the way it used to be in previous versions.

I love the new way. I do not miss any of the news items that have been removed from the inbox at all.

It's like having an industrial-strength spam-filter for FM and means I don't have to go through pages of information that is irrelevant to me.

I do agree that the news items should be in date order for those who do want to read them though. It makes no sense any other way.

Dont you miss not knowing who has been relegated , promoted , what big transfers have happened, who has been sacked , hired etc...
These things make the game for me.

Promotions to and relegations from the league I'm in is all I would really be interested in.

If it doesn't affect my team, I don't miss it. If I want to see that info, I will go to the news area.

Last year, I was quite vocal in my opposition to the amount of irrelevant information I had to wade through to get to the news that was related to my team and welcome the change with arms open wide.

If the majority do like it this way then fair enough. Personally I think it’s an unnecessary backwards step and hope a preferences/options list is included in the future (preferably in the coming patch) to cater for those who liked the old system just the way it was.

I don't like it. There are Team News (inbox), League News, well okay these at least could be reached in one click. But what about other news? Like when a manager in a league above gets sacked. Perhaps I want to get his job? But no, I never would stumble upon this information, unless by chance I decide to check the news for that league. Record transfers, national team news, Champions League news - all of those are hidden from my view. I think this is quite poor design decision.

I don't like the new format, i don't see how its any better. An option to switch to the old style would be good.

surely this should be in your inbox? the whole thing needs changing because as i say they've turned into in a game where it's just you on your own and not the living breathing footballing world.

soemthing that's taken si 15 years to create has been blown away in one move.

nice

Calm down dear.

Totally agree - this highlights the problem that it is just not an issue of moaning about " an extra click ".

I was watching Big Sam at Newcastle - had the manager under pressure and jobs available options selected in my home page.

But NO - because the news page came up and results I MISSED Sam being sacked, the club looking and someone else being appointed before I could apply !!
