Its not a glitch!! its a new design!

I persoanlly love it, before i had to trawl through so much that i never read any genuine news i just skipped it all.

This is much better and for those that want all the other stuff its not far away.

Id rather see time devoted to new features than messing around with this trying to please veryone!

Don't see why they can't just make some kind of tick box/filter (like squad screen can display first team only, or additional teams if you ask it to) so that all the world news that isn't relevant to your club goes straight to your inbox aswell. Best of both then.

Fair enough, but why not have it as an option for people, instead of being forced one way or another?

But the problem is that it <STRIKE>is</STRIKE> far away.Previously if there was some news i wasnt intested in I didnt read it , I could just hit the cotinue button and skip it. Now , I have to go searching for news ( which doesnt seem to be in chronological order) and pick out the bits I might find interesting...I feel like im playing two games , one as the manager of millwall and another as an investigative journalist trying to uncover football news.

There is lots of information I just don't see at all anymore ... Promotions and relegations, for instance. If I'm playing BSP, I want to know who's been promoted to my league and who's been relegated to it, as well. That news class has completely disappeared from the game, AFAIK.

It would be nice if I could tell my personal secretary (you know, the one who handles reminding me that my notes need to be reviewed, and who contacts the local papers when I place an advert) would send me the mail I wanted ... I want to be able to subscribe to news item classes.

This is the only thing about this new UI that I really don't like. I like the idea behind it but I would like to be able to decide what appears in my inbox and what doesn't, perhaps have the ability to organise it by catagories.

Im pretty sure in FM 2007 there was an option similair to this. A preference box in which you could tick what level of news you wanted to recieve in your inbox ( think the choices were local, national , international ?) , but this option has been completely removed from Fm 08.
