I agree it needs to be fine tuned, that is something that really winds me up!

I love the idea of seeing the stories in other leagues/countries but I think it means I often miss out on too much domestically i.e job news etc.

it annoys me but you get used to it.

For the news screen to work best you should be able to choose what you want to see, its good at the moment but not near perfect

Does anyone else not find the fact that you can't tell what you have and haven't read, and that it's in no particular order grating?

I don't even look at it anymore because it was so much double and triple processing of information.

Disagree. You still know. If you add Pique in your short list, you will be reminded that some one is trying to make offer, or when the others make bid for him. The "league news" is only seperate the news from league you are playing which are not relevant to you, such as your rival bough a player but he is not in your short list, your rival results etc.
It save time you because. I know you are playing a game, then you want to read any news, but this new ideal is good.

that's only if their in your shortlist to start with though.
i'd still be interested to keep up to date with my rivals movements within the transfer market

Completely agree.

The ability to select info on your home page does not resolve this as everything is split over 2 screens (home and news). News only focuses on the current league. You miss out on WORLD manager sackings,appointments and jobs, big transfers, and the general stuff that made the game feel so immersive.

It is frustrating as it is all still going on in the background but you just can't see it easily

also agree with the first poster, in my opinion the news system was fine as it was. We really should have the option to have it as one or split as many people are not happy with the new news format. If there was a poll on the matter id reckon the vast majority would be in favor of putting the two news sections together again.

I'm not a big fan of the new way.

I like to get all my news in my inbox. If I want a dumbed down version of FM I'll get Fifa Manager.

I'm glad about it, hated the unnecessary news items I didn't care about. Besides, I've got a couple of game-hotkeys on my keyboard and I'll bind one of them to League news.
