3 games left of the season and we are certain to be relegated. There has been poor performance after poor performance all season even though my team should had been good enough to avoid relegation. Lost and drawed a lot of games that looked like winners up untill after the 80th minute due to freekicks and penalties that my team seemed very good at pulling onto themselves at late stages in the game.
So I get a question what I think about my chances to bounce back up and I tell exactly how I feel that the drop was embaressing and that there is no way we are going back up if they play like this next season.
The players morale really hit rock bottom with that remark, it had actually been kinda decent before despite our horrible performances. But what happens, yes they go on and win all 3 games left with ease, even with one man less one of the games as my DC got sent off after a few minutes.
The fact of relegation had to hit to wake them up it seems as they are playing the football of their life when they have nothing left to play for. I just had to get this off my chest, feeling much better now.
Brighton, had managed to build up a pretty nice squad even with the small resources I had. I just got so annoyed that they decided to start playing when the relegation was already a fact.
Got promoted the first season so I got thrown back down. I don't take it so hard even though I had a team that should had been able to avoid the drop. What annoyed me was that as soon as we were certain to go down they won the rest of the games left, was almost like they wanted to get back down. It was just a rant not something that needs to be fixed.
And in goal I had the Canadian international Kenny Stamatopolous.
My team is driving me nuts
