International Management - Do you have to manage your club as well?
On previous version when you get offered to be an international manager you also able to manage your current club. Is this still the same now?
I find it unrealistic that someone can manages both club and an international team at the same time. Does this happen in real life? Has someone gone into international management as well as managing their own club?
I would prefer it if you was offered a role in the international stage you don't/cant manage your current team.

yes you still can, and i agree but perhaps a high profile club manager could choose a low profile national team but if you look at the likes of england, italy or any of the big nations i cant see it happening in real life, and its a feature that just hasnt been updated.
A few years ago they did accosioanlly appoint club managers but as a stop gap measure

It does happen although rarely. Guus Hiddink was managing PSV when he lead Australia to the 2006 World Cup.
Also in game i think it's a must, the reason being international management is quite boring in game on it's own. It may be slightly unrealistic but this is certainly one area of realism im happy to leave out. Put simply very few people would want to manage internationally if it were to change as there is little excitement in having 3 months between games

I think realistically, it would be best if it gave you the chance to take the national job on the condition that you leave the club job at the end of the season.
However, in the game, international management can be very boring, especially if you have a lot of leagues, so I would manage both a club and a small country, and hopefully not get confused.

you can always resign as club boss if you want to take on a national job. Or you can stay as club boss. Surely everyone is happy then, they can do it however they feel
