Otak40 is infamous around these parts
Default FM08 is toughest to date.

The game is too tough. Its ridiculous. I have lost count how many times I have restarted my campaign.Players getting booked after 15 secs, have world class players but still lose to crap like Reading, West Ham etc. I should just stick to my PS3.

it is the toughest yes. which means its the most satisfying for me.

i was struggling but i persevered and ended up with a 10 game unbeaten run to the end of the season and ended 3rd with liverpool.
great stuff.

I disagree- because the match engine is so flawed it easier.

Well thats if you are prepared to throw your real world tactical ideas out the window and just exploit the flaws of whatever patch you choose to play with.

Not the way Id like to play but imo its certainly not difficult.

I really don't agree with you. Every single person I know who plays FM (about 3 others) have been sucessful in the game. We're all Man Utd supporters but 2 people I know have won everything with Aston Villa and Everton. In 07, I never won any competition, and nor did anyone I know. In this, I have won 5 PLs in a row, a couple of FA cups, CLs etc.

Its a lot easier than FM07 and a lot more playable.
