the subject says it all my friends.

I just recently secured the building of a new stadium for Hereford United. the board say it will be done in June 2012 which is all fine.

however how will i be able to find out what the new stadium id is to add a background.

this is not a planned (editor programed) move. does anyone know something that i might not?

darrenwicks - the editor fix that shows the ID's for Stadiums is the best hope.

although, assuming the editor loads the 'starting database' for your on-going game, it wont have the stadium in it.....so you're knckrd.

If it has it, the editor will show the ID.

go to the editor's forum where some smarty pants has a tweak to the editor so that it shows ID for 'everything' you want it to...

Surely that won't show new created stadia though. Unless yuo're referring to a save game editor which might show it?

This problem annoyed me too, when Liverpool moved to a new stadium and all my home matches were played on a dull grass background instead of the stunning picture of Anfield I believe I got from you Beefy.

yes unfort. the pre game editor does not show the id. at least the 'new anfield' stadium is pre programmed and therefore has the unique id of "<record from="liverpool new" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/5005137/background"/>".

the only way around this problem i have found is to edit the expansion capacity using FMM. at least i keep my backgrounds that way. its not really cheating because i only put it to 40,000 for now. i have no interest in a 1,000,000,000,000,000 capacity.

anyone else with this drama???
