My problem is that graphics\pictures\logos\background\left, many of the files do not show up ingame, ive noticed this especially for the premiership. Why?

Club logos only show up if they are not in an active league. If they are in an active league the nation, or comp logo will show instead or the net logo that shows when nothing is there.

(You can disable the net graphic from showing by deleting the lines that say record from="none" ... in the config file for the default background left logos. The game will then display the national or comp background image)

just done a lot of copy and pasting and made a config file which seemed to have been missing so fingers crossed

i deleted that line and the same is still happening, noticeably with the premiership teams
