if there is already similar thread open to this then i do apologise and can someone post me the link to it.

anyways here is my problem, i recently created a .edt file called 'legends' so as i go further into the game legends of the past appears as regens...i remember doing this on one of the old fm games, but can't seem to get it working. this is how i have it set-up:

"FUTURE_REGEN" "HRISTO" "" "STOICHKOV" "08.02.1991" "BULGARIAN" "CSKA (SOFIA)"

is that correct cos i went a few seasons into my game and none of the players appeared. Also i have got the edt file selected in preferences> extra files.

The format is:

"FUTURE_REGEN" "Jordy" "" "Aaftink" "4.3.1993" "Holland" "AFC Ajax"

But just because you put that in doesn't mean that your regens will appear in the game.

It is a case of "might be".

If you put the same line of code in 300 times in your regen EDT file you will find they will appear.

oh right thanks, also one more question when you get to the club part do have to put the full name of the team or just the short name? e.g. Manchester United or Man Utd
