Can anyone tell me how i create a config file to add myself as a possible new chairman at my favorite club?

C:>Program Files>Sports Interactive> FM2007>data>db>701>edt

in that location there should be a file called Board Takeovers, open it using Notepad

copy and paste this into the document

"BOARD_TAKEOVER""Allan" "" "Shearer" "16.12.1983" "Scotland" "Inverness" "Scotland" "Media Corner Ltd"

save it, close it...the run FM2007 at the start screen go into Preferences>Extra Files and make sure the Board Takeover file IS ticked.

this doesn't guarantee a takeover, but i assume it will happen at some point as i have tried this before and still after 2 seasons no takeover occured, also try going in the Database find you chairman make him dislike the club put Loyalty as 1 and controversy 20.

of course if you are using 7.0.2 you should use:

Cgames\Football Manager 2007\data\db\702\edt

Depending on of course where you installed the game
