i have just created a new tactic that has a 2-3-1-3-1 formation it is quite an attacking tactic. i tried this with portsmouth and in my friendlys the results where 3-0, 3-0, 2-0, 6-0, 4-0. some players are set to have long range shots and this works well with good long range stikers of the ball. in all the games i dominated having usually about 8% possesion at least more and them having few if any shots and with me having just under 30 shots. i would recommend having good strikers with this formation and probably a good strong fast defence as the wingers push up quite a lot.
thats my new tactic the cvalier 1-2-2-2-1-2 tried this in just half a friendly with pompey was winning 4-0. this one uses a target man with most of the attacking players allowed to have long range shots including the strikers. i had benjani and kanu upfront and benjani got 2 from 30yards and kanu got 1 from 25 yards. seems tobe a good tactic. please try it and let me know how you get on again.
the defence does alright considering its an attacking tactic sometimes they get caught out wide i think but midfielders and others are always there to cover by the way got a new tactic coming soon 4-2-3-1 formation i think will post it once i have made it and tested it
right heres my new tactic it is a 2-2-2-3-1 formation that is more defensive than my other tactics but still quite attacking. tried this for half a friendly just for a quick tester seems to work was winning 3-0 with 2 screamers from sean davis and gary o'neill and the other was a shot from davis which kanu poked in. this one seems to be the best of the lot but im not sure you folkes will have to decide . i have also found out that these tactics are quite good when the opositions striker tries to get in behind. they keep getting caught offside.]
