He sucks now anyways. Manchester have better and I would even start Saha over him. Plus young Rossi is great too. Hopefully they get a young pacy player in his place.

he doesnt suck, i just think he hasnt been the same player since he was left out of the cup final. would be interesting if he joined another premiership club, but he'll probably move abroad. its a well known fact that if you get on the wrong side of fergie he'll eventually push you out, no matter who you are..

Thanks for the service Ruud, but I think It's time to move on. He'd suit the itallian league alot more I feel anyway.

You can't let someone who gets you over 20 goals a season just go. With Ruud in the team, there's a great balance of strikers: Rooney plays off the front two, Ruud's the poacher, Saha has the speed. Plus you'd need to spend shit loads to replace someone like him so that would go out of our midfield budget too and I'd rather see Riquelme and Carrick arrive rather than Makoun and Bodmer.

It's a shame really, ever since he arrived he's been one of my favourite centre forwards - my Van Basten. As far as replacements go, it'd have to be a similar type of player - Crespo and Gilardino spring to mind but I can't either of them leaving. One thing I don't want to see though is a swap deal with Real where we get some dud like Gravesen.

A swap deal with Torres would do dandy.

And about the budget bit, we wouldn't necesarily take it out of our starting transfer kitty..just buy with what we sell him for(if the worst happens)

I can't actually see us getting much for him, not that 50 mill he was worth a couple of seasons back, more 8-10 mill now and you'd only just buy Crouch for that :/
