It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I'm glad you are all getting results with this tactic. I tried it enough times with different teams to test whether or not it worked, but its nice to know others are having some success.

PS2 - With regards to opposition instructions, I only really set these if the opposing AML/AMR's are especially good. For example, if I am playing against C. Ronaldo I will force him onto his left. You can also do the same thing for superb forwards that are one sided. If they are "Left Only" then try to force them onto their right foot. Simple, but sometimes frezzes them out of games.

The other cheeky thing I do is to rile dirty players. If say I am playing against someone like Diouf I will set my players around him to tackle HARD. The amount of times I've had opposing players sent off is pretty amusing. Its sort of cheating, but it happens in real life.

Have been having good success with the rafalution tactic in 1st season finishing 4th. The tactic then started been in-effective so i figured the AI had cracked it. I have started using your tactic during the season from fa cup match with hull, here are my results with your tactic so far.

Results

I have had a good number of clean sheets and im on a good run at the moment, winning the league cup final against man utd 3-0 Havent started new game with this tactic yet, but so far so good, I hope it continues Very good tactic indeed.

This tactic is working well for me as well. I have just been promoted to the premiership with Coventry and I have a very good record. I have noticed 2 things.
1. Although overall record is better strikers score less than before.
2. In some games where it doesn't work you get put under immense pressure. If you have any tweaks for this I would be grateful.

brynjlewis32 - If under pressure I just bring the AML/AMR back to ML/MR and leave the instructions the same. If the pressure gets too bad try putting both CM's to hold the ball up so it slows things down.

Because this is an attacking formation, you do come under pressure. There isn't a lot you can do about it sometimes, but try what I've written above and see how you get on.

Tried this wih Blackburn in a new game. Top of the league after 10 games, 7 wins and 3 losses (all to the big teams). Really pleased, great tactic. Thanks for sharing.
