Evening.

I'm having real problems with passing. Now I'm playing in L2 so I'm not expecting sexy football, but my players just can't pass short balls to each other.

I am one of the better teams in the division, and even when I'm playing slow tempo with short passing, nothing seems to make a difference. These players are not under pressure either! even when they have plenty of time and space, they still manage to give the ball away, or put it out for a throw.

Any ideas??

Loads of reasons possible. Are you playing with too much TTB, are your players too far apart in mentality? Are you playing with a deep dl and your attacking players are with a high mentality thus creating a large gap? Is everyone playing with too high closing down leaving no outlet for people to pass the ball too? Are you not having enough FWR so that players can find others to pass the ball too? Is your formation too wide?

You need to read a lot of threads or give more information on your current tactic so that someone can help you design one better

thats a great help. what about if quite a few of my passes are being completed and i have slightly more possession but the opponents seem to be creating more chances? this worries me when playing at home. any tips?

you really are the man in the know rashidi! what have you achieved in football manager? im guessing you can easily take teams from the conference to champions league glory reasonabley easily with tactical knowledge??? can you win the premiership with a relegation candidate like cleon did? (1st season).
