I've got a bit of a weird question, due to a bit of a weird question. In my Bayer Leverkusen game, there's a training bug which which means any players in the reserves are on youth training. It was a bug that affected all German clubs on the original game, but it is still present for Bayer. Obviously, this creates a bit of a problem since I really can't develop players in my reserves to any real extent.
For the most part, the young players (17-19 years old) that are on senior training, I just keep in the main squad and try to give them some matches. But I've got a couple of midfielders that I bought - a 17 year old Russian and an 18 year old Croatian - who have potential but just aren't good enough to get any first team time. I've considered loaning them out if possible, but that never seems to work all that well for me. So I'm wondering how detrimental it would be to their development to play regularly in the reserves but be on a youth training schedule?
Basically, which is going to help more - playing regular matches or being on a senior training schedule?
i find on my game that unless their on a full time schedule their stats will drop. very annoyin when i get a good 14 year old and cant train him properly for three years
