In all his glory of bad stats but AMAZING performances




Well, it all came about when I had qualified for the champions league early. I had Valencia AWAY. I thought this was the best time to try some reserves. My starting line up was:

Zieler
oshea, Jonathan evans, Pique, Evra
Lee Martin, Gibson, Hewson, Nani
Saivet, Fagan

We drew 2-2 away from home and it was down to saivet and more importantly a 25 yard rocket from hewson. Hewson was MoM with an 8, I thought id give him another go.


Since then he come on against liverpool in a 3-1 win and got a 7. I thought I'd start him against Bolton away from home (3rd in league) He played and got a 7 and we won confortably with his assists. We then faced Everton away from home and low and behold a Sam Hewson goal provided victory along with aaritalo and rooney. Hewson was MoM again and got an 8.

I am unbeaten in 5 that hewson has played and is keeping scholes and Anderson out of the game. The lad hasnt even had a 6 yet!

In real life he is good player on this he is dubbed the next paul ince and im halfway through the first season. Definitely try this kid out.

I have 7 and a few 6 star for the youth training using the standard schedules. I didnt think it possible someone with such bad stats could produce such quality at this level!

While managing Man Utd in FM07 I had to bring Hewson into the first team due to injuries. He performed really well in that too. He must have a good consistency stat or something.

anderson has been incredible in my second season.

he's surrounded by pretty high class players, they're probably carrying him to a certain extent.

so he's actually playing well or you've just won all the games you've played with him by some coincidence? what're his in game stat's like? passes attempted/made etc etc.

He hasn't had a 6 yet and there have been times that other plays such as hargreaves or giggs have had 6's in the same game.

He seems to score when we need and it is such an important position that I play him that the team couldn't carry him. Compared to fletcher when I had to play him there, fletch was nowhere near as good or consistent.

Also against valencia no other players could carry him because there were a bunch of reserves. Ill post a screenshot of the valencia match.



He really must have some inbuilt performing stats because his normal stats are shocking
