As for letting him give team talks, depnds on how good he is at motivating. I usually dont rely on him. If you dont have the patch installed, then definitely dont listen to him because most of the time he'll either say "none" or "do it for the fans". Hardly gives anything else.

Depends on what you are after.

If you want him to look after the reserve team then tactics would be an important attribute. If you want him to look after the youth then Juding Potential and working with youngsters would be important.

If you want him to do the team talks then the motiviating attribute is important. If you want him to pick the side then Judging Ability is important.

If you get a foreign one the Adaptability is important - same for when you have an injury crisis.

The playing mentality and preffered formation are also important if you want to go on holidays.

Determination attribute is important to pretty much every aspect of the game.
