Anyone knows which spanish club is a sleeping giant? I've never taken charge of a spanish team so I thought of giving it a try.

No such thing in reality, as Real & Barça have always dominated throughout history.

the next best teams I would agree with the above post, but plus perhaps Sevilla & Real Betis.

Real Betis are THE Andalucian club and those who don't follow Real & Barça in Andalucia (Southern Spanish region), tend to follow Betis, who play in the green & white colours of the Andalucian flag and are also currently sponsored by Tourismo Andalucia.

Has Betis or Sevilla win the Primera before? I remember this year to be the centenary year for Betis. Would be great if I achieve league success on her centenary year.

Looking through the previous winners of the Primera, I decided to go with Atletic Bilbao for a challenge with Basque only players..Thanx for all the replies!

Xabi and Mikel Alonso make for a good CM couple when your only looking for Basque players, theyre also brothers.

Good choice in Bilbao - completely forgot about them

They were big in the 60's and featured in a couple of classic European cup matches against Man Utd.

One tip playing Spanish leagues until the next patch. Watch out for the player registraion bug. To get around most of the problems, keep a close eye on the news screens and make sure you have all the players you want in your first team selected and confirmed.

Downside is moving players between your B & C teams is screwwed up at the moment.

Thanx for the tip. I doubt Mikel will want to come tho since he's at Sociedad. I'm looking at Osasuna youths mostly. 1st team is okay but Real Madrid bid 7 million for Javi Martinez. Damn, i think i shall increase the bid to 20 milion to fend off interest. :p
