Nice to see that you can read someone's first-hand report and call it lies.

There was a fight and there was also something being ripped down.

It is clear that some supposition went into what could have caused the ruckus.

However, the biggest morons of all are those who resort to using a football match to have a fight. Now, I don't know who caused it or how it happened, as it happened on the opposite side of the ground. At half time, there was a fight outside the back of the covered terrace. It was not started by Newcastle Town fans, who were massively outnumbered and all either behind the goal(s) or on the same side I was, having given up their terrace due to the sheer number of manure II fans. It has been speculated the manure II fans were fighting with some Stoke fans who had turned up, but this was not confirmed so should not be taken as fact.
I can't see any lies there.

All I can surmise is that you're being over-defensive about the appearance that a lot of the clubs followers are former Man Utd gloryhunters who still want Glazer out and will return to the club when he has left.

Apparently you do, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered coming into this forum to fire abuse. Have a warning and be glad I didn't put it as a straight yellow.

This is one of the most illiterate posts I have ever encountered on this forum.

Also, why is it necessary to swear, does it make you feel all big inside?

You warrant your warning, and if it was not for the leniency of LFC then you’d be receiving a yellow card.

It was more a reply to what he has said on here and on his blog.

The guy would get more respect from me if he just came out and said

"I hate MUFC and everything about it"

I mean lets face it, as soon as he wrote the word Manure, any credibility in the report went right out the window, as it is obviously a very one sided personal bit of writing.

maybe the poster would like to read the report from his local newspaper, i find the comments from the club representitives most interesting.

Perhaps you'd like to read this report from The Sentinel before saying anything else

Dozens of police officers descended on a tiny non-league football ground after trouble flared during an afternoon match. The Staffordshire police helicopter was scrambled during the operation at yesterday's game between Newcastle Town and Manchester side FC United.

But eye-witnesses at the Lyme Valley ground pinned the blame for the incident on organised hooligans unconnected with either club.

Some fans, including families with young children, left the ground before full-time in disgust at the behaviour.

Police maintained a heavy presence on the gates, but there were no reports of any arrests of injuries.

Supporters inside the small stadium said they were aware of shouting and bottles being thrown towards the Newcastle fans by a group of up to 40 people who had crossed the neighbouring rugby club pitch to reach the ground.

But fans and officials stressed the disturbance did not spread to the ground itself.

Newcastle club secretary Ray Tatton said: "Nothing happened inside the ground, it was all happening outside.

"It was nothing to do with the FC United fans. They were excellent and we would welcome them back any time."

A police spokesman at the match confirmed that extra officers had been requested, and said: "We don't know yet who was involved, or where they were from, so it wouldn't be appropriate to comment."

A spokesman for Staffordshire Ambulance Service said an ambulance was requested, but that it was in response to a medical emergency.

Newcastle councillor Andy Fear was among the home supporters who witnessed the trouble.

He said: "I saw bottles and things being thrown over by a group of people who had got around the back, but the police soon chased them off."

And you obviously didn't recognise the many songs about Stuart Rudd, Simon Carden, Rory Patterson and Matty Taylor (all FC United players) during the game. And I personally heard none about Ronaldo

A couple of points :

1) MUFC - Manchester United, yes? Well, a few of us - especially Liverpool supporters like myself - use the phrase "ManUre" as a showing of our rivalry with the club. I know a lot of people who use "ManUre" instead of "Man Utd" - some from their dislike of the club, some from pure habit.

2) A club formed from people abandoning their original club just because they dislike the current owners isn't going to be liked by other supporters who have stuck with their clubs through thick and thin.

Even if that idiot Steve Morgan buys Liverpool, he will not have the money to fund the club. It would be a disaster. I still would support Liverpool. I can't suddenly change my allegiance because of that.

Personally i detest liverpool and anythign connected with a passion, but if i were to write any sort of report on them i would write Liverpool, rather than vermin or murderers that you get called.

And besides Liverpool having a hatred of all things united is a little different than some nomark from stafford.

And if you took some time to research the club and its contitution you will see it has more than just the glazers for its creation.
